A Sound Bath Meditation

It all started with a DM from Andrea the founder of The Next Fun Thing. She reached out and suggested that we partner on an event for the upcoming new moon and after a brief brainstorming session we came up with the brilliant idea of hosting a relaxing sound bath meditation followed by a journalling session. Coincidentally, just the week prior to connecting with her — I had stated out loud that I wanted to start doing in-person events for SingleGirlClub and viola the universe answered!

We enlisted the talent from Kim of Libreina Wellness Center to lead our guided session. She misted the room with a sweet palo santo spray as guests arrived and settled in savasana. She began the session with a brief intention setting and soon we all melted into our yoga mats as she played the bowls for a generous 45 minutes. After the sound bath came to an end guests were lead into a self-love journaling session — where we reflected on our favorite qualities about ourselves. It was amazing getting the opportunity to meet with wonderful women in our community and making space and time for ourselves.
